Working closely with the Owner, BTD developed two small projects to enhance outdoor learning and preserve a redwood forest. The new Outdoor Classroom, adjacent to Harwood Creek, has a lockable storage shed, demonstration rain barrel, two tables, nature play area, and pollinator garden. The Observation deck is both a place for outdoor classrooms and for public recreation during non-school hours.
