Mills College Renovations

Mills College is a top-ranked liberal arts and sciences college that was founded in 1852 and is located in the hills of Oakland, California. The bucolic campus simultaneously evokes rigorous academic institution and sanctuary of green with snapshots of architectural history from the early 1900’s to present day. BAY TREE DESIGN has been assisting the College by respecting each of these distinct destinations while ensuring that the pedestrian approaches to these locations are universally accessible and meet current codes. BAY TREE DESIGN succeeds at this task with thoughtful grading and layout that discreetly integrates old and new, all while creatively adhering to a tight construction budget.
